Description

I've used all four Tarte Tartelette Eyeshadow palettes and want to share a look of each of them in this post. The Tarte Toasted palette definitely has some similarities to the Urban Decay Heat palette. I don’t own the Heat palette, so I can’t compare them in terms of quality. However, I do own two other naked palettes and rate them very highly in my collection. The deciding factor for me was I wanted to try a palette from Tarte, as I was less familiar with their products. Even though the Heat palette makes me drool when I look at swatches, I felt the Toasted had a more wearable range of shades for my taste. That being said I’m not ruling out getting the Heat palette in the future. Both palette have 12 shadows and the price point is very similar. As is the amount of eye shadows in each pan, so there isn’t much between them. It really comes down to personal preference. rebel Ingredients: Talc, silica, boron nitride, zinc stearate, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), manganese violet (CI 77742), ultramarines (CI 77007). smokeshow Ingredients: Talc, mica, zinc stearate, silica, boron nitride, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), ultramarines (CI 77007).

There are three mid-toned shimmer shades in this palette, (Sunset, Flame & Simmer) and while they are all really beautiful, it would have been nice to see a bit more shade variety in the shimmers. The palette contains 3 light shades with different finishes, that can be used to highlight. As I love to wear matte’s on my brow bone and shimmer’s on my inner corner; S’more, Sunrise and Candle all fit the bill. This palette really offers a range of options, and can be easily transitioned from day to night looks. I have been starting most of my looks with Cashmere as a transition shade followed by Latte in my crease. This has been the most perfect duo to begin my looks, as it gives that perfect neutral base to compliment the rest of the shades in the palette The way the shades are positioned within the palette, is great if you are in need of some inspiration. At first it looks quite random, but I have been enjoying using the rows as guides. To create some looks I wouldn’t have tried otherwise. If you want to keep it super warm, you can focus on the middle row across to create a orange toned look. A true warm toned lovers dream. Or if you are after a more neutral feel, the top and bottom row across offers more neutral and cool toned shades. answered already. This really is a beautiful palette, the shadows are high quality and certainly don’t disappoint. I think the shade range is fantastic and really thought out. It offers great variety and flexibility but still comfortably sits in that warm toned family. Despite it being so warm toned, it’s really wearable and surprising versatile. Its a palette I have been reaching for non-stop and such a beautiful addition to my collection. We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when Candle is the weakest shade for me, it’s very crumbly and has a lot of fall-out. It’s a beautiful shade but dipping your brush is creates a snow storm of powder. I still love it as an inner corner highlight shade but you have to be careful when using it as to not make a mess. PigmentationA fair note of what I've observed over the last few years: These Tarte Tartelette Eyeshadow Palettes seem to go on sale at least one a year, if not more.

Latte

I was so happy to see a Tartelette with more pink and rosy shades and like the other Tartelette eyeshadow palettes, the shades in Tartelette Juicy are coordinated so all the shades in each row can be used to create a stunning eye look. Tarte Tartelette Eyeshadow Palettes Verdict And can say I enjoy all four for different reasons. Below are swatches of each the Tarte Tartelette, Tartelette in Bloom, Tartelette Toasted, and Tartelette Juicy. Which one(s) do I prefer the most?

If you're looking for a quality and in my opinion, one of the BEST eyeshadow palettes to add to your collection or if you're a beginner to make up. One (or all - you can't have too much makeup!) of these will be perfect splurge on! activist Ingredients: Talc, silica, boron nitride, zinc stearate, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, carmine (CI 75470), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), manganese violet (CI 77742), ultramarines (CI 77007). I already own the original Tartelette Palette {all matte neutral shadows; review here} and the Tartelette in Bloom* {mix of shimmer and matte including some duplicates of the original Tartelette; neutral/cool toned}. As far as I can see, Toasted has 12 new shadow shades. This is a must for me in terms of purchasing a permanent palette these days. Like In Bloom, it has a mix of matte and shimmers. I love that they balanced a mix of light and dark shadows in both formulas. After putting this palette to the test for a while now, I wanted to share with you a full run-down review and if I think its worth the spend. smarty pants Ingredients: Talc, mica, silica, boron nitride, zinc stearate, ethylhexyl palmitate, sodium dehydroacetate, caprylyl glycol, phenoxyethanol, vanillin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, hexylene glycol, vanilla planifolia fruit extract, kaolin, manganese violet (CI 77742), iron oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).The latest addition in the Tartelette family is Tartelette Juicy!
