I recently bought the porch (which is a must) as it enables you to leave the outdoor furniture outside and gives good protection in the rain. (The zip can work loose so you do have to secure this in high winds). I understand there is also an enclosed porch available.

Plenty of space in the bedroom for a large double airbed with space all around. Bedrooms can be divided though this would makes things a lot more cramped. A roomy porch for cooking and storage. (based on 2 people sharing) and we were able to sit and read/play cards/eat inside without feeling cramped. The real bonus is the height. Being 6ft2 myself there is loads of headroom throughout. Coleman is a globally established brand, and they provide spare parts for their equipment, this you may need in the case of problems with poles that are not particularly durable. You also have a small zipped opening (at the bottom near the first tent pool) to run a power lead for an electric hook-up if you need it (such as for running a heater if you are camping in the cooler seasons). Both of these extend the living area outside. (The side porch is not really appropriate for the Coastline 4 though). New self roll windows are a novelty but only downside is no fly screen in windows so cant open for ventilation. Small ventilation port at ground level for the cooling fan Coleman produces, without fan in situ very little air circulation. The tent is very tall and my husband who is over 6ft can stand up comfortably in it, we have a zip at the bottom of the front flap and therefore haven't had the problems other people have had. We have also bought and use the Coleman canopy which really makes the tent much more useable and practical. We did have a tiny leak from the seam around the window but am assuming that this was because the tent was new and didn't pre wet the tent before our trip.Have used this tent for overnight and longer holidays-up to a week since 2010. Have the porch which is a great extra meaning you can keep all the chairs and tables outside. We definitely have problems putting it up and getting it to zip up once erected and are unsure why but hopefully the more we use it the easier it will be and hopefully we can work out what we are doing wrong but we don't believe it is a design fault, I'm pretty sure it is us. You can also remove the inner tent completely and use the shell only as a single room tent, this would give a huge room of 12.2 square meters. I have included it in my list of best 4-person family camping tents.

Regarding seasons & climate, this tent is originally built for the EU market, so it comes with a huge waterproof rating and it is quite enclosed with its solid windows. This is why I see it better suited for a cooler climate than for warm-weather camping.

No drafts, leaks or condensation problems. There is only 1 zip for electricity cables which could be a pain if your cable wont stretch to that side of the tent, there are air flaps on all 4 corners and a zipped area at the bottom which you can buy a fan to fit in to create extra air circulation.
