The tubes are made from low density polyethylene (LDPE) while the caps are made from polypropylene (PP), both of which can be recycled. I have been using the Freederm Treatment 4% gel for the past three years now and I’m now on my third tube (I haven’t actually used a whole one up yet – its just they have expiry dates so I bin them after they’ve expired). It’s an anti-inflammatory spot treatment that contains a unique active ingredient Nicotinamide, which has been proven to help get rid of inflamed spots. It is quite strong as well so I wouldn’t use too much gel on the spot, but it does what it says and it’s good for every now and then.

It is designed for emergencies and not regular use and requires you to have add a recent asthma review. Any side effects or unexpected occurrences related to use of this product should be reported using the company details on the packaging, or, in the case of a medicine, to the MHRA using the Yellow Card Scheme. It doesn't do much in clearing the skin and not getting new spots but it does work and heal the spots that do come out. By second and third night could easily be completely covered with a little concealer and then completely gone. It has the little cap that is really easy to open and has been since day one (don’t you just hate when you nearly rip out your nail due to a little plastic cap?
