About this deal

Hi Ellie, thank you so much! It’s really nice to hear from you! I’m so excited that you and Mady are working together on your book, and that you might dress as Daisy and Hazel for World Book Day. That is so wonderful. I think that becoming a detective is a great ambition, and you should definitely pursue it. I’m proud to have helped inspire you!

Although this was something different to read, I did not enjoy it because I am not into mystery and murder stories. Robin Stevens is a British American author of the children’s mystery series, A Murder Most Unladylike. Me and Amina kind of have a thing. Ive never felt like this about anyone. This is much stronnger that martita. I hope you definetely wanna be friends still.” I threw my arms around her I could not believe how silly she was being. I , the dishonurable Daisy Wells must finish this casebook. I must tell you how brave Hazel met her fate. And it’s all Alexander’s and my fault!Roll the dough out on a floured surface. Using a glass or tumbler or biscuit cutter, cut the dough into circles.

Following Daisy’s birthday treasure hunt, Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong get caught in the middle of the mystery.Hear, hear!” Amina agrees, “You’re all such exellent detectives, and I’m so glad I was able to help.” I loved mistletoe and murder, it was great! I actually thought there was going to be another heir!!!

It's quite hard to review this book as it's a collection of a million-and-one things and it's only fun if you've read at least the first 4 books in the series (although reading the fifth too doesn't hurt) and if you really enjoyed those first 4 books. Plot-wise it's not adding anything and the short stories are amusing, but not really delivering the same thrill as the other novels. I looked at the girl. She looked at me. She was dirty and her clothes were torn, but I would know her anywhere. Daisy. We recognised each other at the same moment, and I could tell by the flash in her eyes that it wasn’t going to go well. Daisy, we were always best friends. Aminas, Martittas, Alexanders come and go. But we will always be best friends.’ I am so excited for the cover reveal (and the publication, obviously). I agree with Clodagh, I love this series so much and it has really got me interested in murder mysteries ( I had to buy a new bookshelf for all my Agatha Christie’s, Dorothy Sayers and Margery Allinghams) and crime writing (I am writing a long murder mystery now). This is my favourite series ever and I will miss it! I’ve decided to tell you a bit about Eliza a character in my story. So i’ve decided to make something like a character profile:

I glanced towards the others: Bertie, Alexander, George, Lavinia, Beanie, Kitty, everyone who mattered. George, Lavinia and Kitty were white with grief, their faces screwed up, Beanie’s face was streaked with tears, but Alexander and Bertie were still crying.

Camilla Badescu is in the fifth form, and has pale skin, dark hair and red lips. She comes from Romania (which is practically Transylvania). She doesn’t eat at meals. And she seemed to have an unhealthy influence over another pupil, Amy Jessop. Now, I do not believe in vampires – I am the Honourable Daisy Wells, after all. But when I heard the rumour that Camilla was seen climbing head-first down a wall, I knew it was time to investigate…’She is dead Rose,” I whispered. Then she jumped out of dad’s arms and hugged her sister. No pulse. Just dead. This is my ending- I know all the clues lead to Daisy dying but for the purpose of the prompt I changed it. It is set on a little island, not far from Egypt, where Bertie, Harold, Daisy, Hazel, Amina, Alexander, George and Vincent Wong are stranded. Instead of it being based on Death on the Nile, its loosely based on And Then They Were None. Any way this is what im hoping. Daisy is my fav character so Id rather it would be someone we did not love in the books Place the dough circles in the cups of a greased and floured cupcake tray. Poke each little circle with a fork a few times, and then put a heaped teaspoon of jam into the centre of each one. (You don’t have to use all the jam in the jar, of course! Keep some for your breakfast.)
