It would be a keeper. This book brought me SO MUCH joy. I loved every minute I spent reading it. I laughed constantly. It was exactly what I needed to read. There are a million and one reasons why I shouldn’t fall for my BFF’s twin... Too bad love isn’t reasonable. I put my finger on her lips. “It sounds stupid, but Drew’s friendship is really important to me, Luce. Although he can drive me insane, he feels like my brother sometimes. I need his approval where you’re concerned—which I do believe he’ll give to me with time. But if I pursued a relationship with you right after he asked me not to, he would not react well. Imagine how much strain that would put on me and you right from the beginning.”

I don’t know how she does it, but Sarah Adams had me in splits through a second book. I had so much fun reading The Enemy, but I did not expect to snort up water while reading The Off Limits Rule, but maybe it should be understood that Sarah is going to deliver a hilarious book no matter what. The Off-Limits Rule was light and fluffy read. It follows the story of Lucy, a single mother who has recently returned home and is now living with her brother Drew. She meets Drew's new best friend, Cooper, who recently moved to the city from Charleston. He was also in a bad breakup and needed a fresh start and has been living the bachelor lifestyle ever since. Cooper and Lucy have an instant connection and interest in each other from the moment they meet, but they cannot pursue this because Drew disapproves of their relationship. Second, she blurts, randomly a her awkward trait but it is just weird. some things are for example: "I did not shave my legs", "I am wearing hideous underwear"... Why why why. Just before I start ranting I would like to say that this is my last Sarah Adams book. I have finally read all this books I bought because of people saying they were so good and I could not be more happy to be done with this. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fmc this bad and embarrassing. I already hated the cheat sheet but thought I’d give this author a second chance, (I actually hated this book for the same reasons I hated the cheat sheet). Review: The Off Limits Rule (Sarah Adams) – A Novel Glimpse

It feels and looks like a really cute book, but somehow I found it annoying at times... even so much I decided to use my e-reader notes to underline and comment all the things that got on my nerves. They went something like this (warning! No context included): Those two seconds of heart-in-my-throat free fall made me realize something: I don’t push myself enough. Somewhere along the line in my life, I stopped jumping. It’s time to start again.” star. WAS THIS BOOK WRITTEN BY A TEENAGER? Because the sheer immaturity displayed by all of the characters was extremely random and off-putting. I literally could not believe how idiotic the H&h were being, and somehow they kept getting worse and worse as the story progressed. The letter H can be useful to create some two-letter words but there are some longer, high scoring words too. Here are some examples. Everything about this was bubblegum sweet and candied kisses. You cannot help but love the characters.

Because Cooper is Lucy’s brother’s best friend, they both know that nothing can happen. But they keep finding ways to be around each other and it’s all kinds of cute. Literally everyone knows that they want each other, but for Drew’s sake, they’re holding it together. And thus the slow burn. But good gosh, they are so cute together! Cooper is a romantic and Lucy is an awkward turtle and together they are just absolutely fantastic. This book is just a goldmine of WTF moments. I could go on and on and on about the sheer stupidity displayed by the MCs and the side characters. I'll stop though, because whose got that kind of time, right?
