I’ve not seen any of these out and about, and only a few online the stems make them much more interesting than the later designs with the brighter deer designs on them, even though they are more well known. For example, a dress with a 34" bust, 28" waist and 34" hips would normally equate to a current UK size 10. My glass has the same hexagonal stem and triple lined font for the logo, which is seen in some Babycham adverts from the late 50s.

I found it quite hard to find pictures of the changing face of the Babycham deer all in one place so I thought I’d share what I’ve picked up on the way. Babycham glasses have been a popular collectible item for years, and their worth can vary greatly depending on their age, condition, and rarity. Looking back I can remember a lot of things, which, if they crossed my path now I would certainly snap up for my own house; a heavy coloured glass dish which sat in the window of the front room stands out clearly in my memory, but I also remember lace and crochet doilies, a teasmaid, a cinefilm video, and a wooden lamp in the shape of a windmill, as well as hundreds of other bits and pieces including some fairly ugly toby jugs!By following these simple tips, you’ll be well on your way to becoming a knowledgeable and discerning collector of Babycham glasses. This set of four is from the 1950s, identified as this era due to the colour and direction the deer is facing, the typography used on the base and the fact that they have a hexagonal stem. Other designs include the pheasant, which was introduced in the 1960s; the partridge, which was introduced in 1971; and the fox, which was introduced in 1974. Clothing sizes have changed over the years and from decade to decade we see alternative types of sizing as well as variations on the way measurements equate to dress sizes. Original champagne glass with the white all four legs together fawn logo and dark blue ‘BABYCHAM’ listing around the base. This glass stands 11cm featuring the highly collectable white bambi logo of the 1950's below the rim of the glass with the words Babycham in blue round the base of the glass. The ratings/reviews displayed here may not be representative of every listing on this page, or of every review for these listings. Each volume has a coloured front illustration as well as numerous many black and white plates inside. So even a book as comprehensive as this, he says, cannot be more than an hors d'oeuvre to exploring the field.Squeeze out any excess water from the gelatine and stir it into the warm cordial until fully disolved. Comms with seller were great, incredibly well packaged, definite thought out into it, not just thrown in a box. While they’re not currently being produced, there is still a demand for Babycham glasses among collectors and those who remember them from their youth. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.
